One of the only substantial remains of the 2" salt tramway that ran from Lake Becking to the BG line at Linga is this bogie, on the edge of Lake Becking. The line opened in 1923 and only ran for two or three years, as it was plagued by sandslides, along with other problems.

NR16 with the Overland, reflected in a puddle on the up side of Glenorchy. There had been an unusually high rainfall in the past few weeks, resulting in a lot of scenes like this in the usually dry Wimmera District.

The Overland near Glenorchy. As usual, the Motorail wagon is empty. In my opinion this is not surprising; Great Southern Railway charges so much to take your car on the train, it usually works out to cost around three times as much as driving, especially with multiple people.
